Hi and welcome home! I'm so glad to read that you are healing, slowly but surely and especially that you are feeling better as the days go by. And that husband of yours, yup you KNOW you're blessed! There is absolutely nothing like the love you get from pets. Birds are in a category of love and devotion all their own. Your description of the reunion with your conure is all too familiar to me! My Pickles lovie will hop onto my finger and then to my shoulder, nibble nibble on my face and then it's down the front of my shirt! Hehe! Then he lets out his little birdie buzz of contentment. Oh how I LOVE the bird purr! Have a happy 4th!
